Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
- Lead complex month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and internal control testing procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial modeling
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize working capital management
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and automation tools
- Mentor junior accountants and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and complex financial reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of SOX controls and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multinational accounting operations and consolidation processes
