Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Lead preparation and analysis of complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
- Manage SOX compliance testing and internal control documentation
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement projects
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and tax compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA required
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-currency transactions and consolidation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with Big Four audit firms or multinational corporations preferred
