Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for multi-entity portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee internal controls testing and SOX compliance documentation
- Lead technical accounting research for new revenue recognition standards
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual financial audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff through process improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain key financial reporting dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Advanced proficiency in SAP/Oracle and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing cross-functional financial projects
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
