Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with variance analysis
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and internal controls testing
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems for scalability
- Mentor junior accountants on technical accounting standards
- Present financial insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong audit experience with Big 4 or national firms
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record in process improvement initiatives
- Certification in internal controls or financial management
