Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex financial reporting packages for executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee reconciliations for balance sheet accounts with variance analysis
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Mentor junior accounting staff on technical best practices
- Streamline accounting processes using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial statement preparation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing SOX compliance initiatives
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines
