Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and delivered on time.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and potential risks.
- Manage general ledger activities, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and internal control standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Prepare and analyze regulatory reports and tax documentation as required.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
