Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies with high attention to detail.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and internal policies.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA or CMA certification is highly desired.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
