Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, including variance analysis, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP, FASB, and internal control policies.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies with precision.
- Lead the annual external audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the implementation of ERP system enhancements and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree or CPA/CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, auditing, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Demonstrated experience managing the full accounting cycle and audit preparation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
