Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management to optimize operational efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate external audits and internal control reviews, ensuring seamless interactions with external auditors.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and accrual management.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows and enhance data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of internal controls, GAAP, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
