Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for multi-entity portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Oversee SOX compliance testing and internal control documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Develop and implement process improvements for financial reporting workflows
- Manage audit relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior accounting staff through hands-on training and guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with multi-currency and international accounting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
