Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans for workplace incidents
  • Conduct regular facility audits and air quality monitoring to ensure compliance with EPA and TCEQ regulations
  • Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees across multiple sites
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal protocols and spill prevention control countermeasure (SPCC) programs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety-by-design principles into new projects
  • Prepare regulatory reports and maintain permits for air emissions, wastewater discharges, and chemical inventories
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using leading/lagging EHS KPIs and data analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sectors
  • CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification required
  • Expert knowledge of EPA, OSHA, TCEQ, and DOT regulations
