Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementations
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments for industrial/commercial sites
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, spill prevention, and emergency response protocols
- Train employees on safety procedures, environmental regulations, and sustainable practices
- Oversee permit renewals, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into project planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP/CSP credentials preferred
- Expertise in regulatory compliance (TSCA, RCRA, Clean Air Act)
- Advanced knowledge of industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and waste management
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Excellent communication abilities for training and stakeholder engagement
- Valid driver's license and willingness for occasional site visits
