Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS programs across 5+ industrial facilities
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ requirements
- Conduct high-risk workplace inspections and air quality monitoring
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions
- Train 500+ employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and sustainable practices
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and recycling programs with 98% diversion rate
- Oversee contractor safety qualifications and site-specific orientations
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential
- Expert knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR, EPA regulations, and ISO 14001 standards
- Advanced proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques
- Experience with EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or Cority)
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to translate metrics into actionable insights
- OSHA 30-hour and HAZWOPER certifications required
