Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and industrial hygiene assessments to identify hazards
- Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permitting processes
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Stay current on EPA, TCEQ, and evolving OSHA regulations
- Coordinate emergency response drills and crisis management protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in KPI reporting
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Valid Texas driver's license for site visits
