Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct rigorous facility audits and risk assessments for chemical handling, waste disposal, and industrial processes
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation using root cause analysis methodologies
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage regulatory reporting for EPA, TCEQ, and local environmental permits
- Drive sustainability initiatives including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and circular economy practices
- Collaborate with leadership on EHS strategy integration with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or Cority)
- Proven expertise in Texas environmental regulations and OSHA VPP programs
- Strong data analytics skills with experience developing EHS KPI dashboards
- OSHA 30-hour and HAZWOPER certifications required
- Experience leading cross-functional sustainability initiatives
