Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Conduct risk assessments and audits for industrial facilities, focusing on chemical handling and waste management
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives for multi-site operations
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across diverse departments
- Ensure compliance with federal (EPA, TCEQ) and international environmental regulations
- Drive sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and circular economy practices
- Analyze incident data to implement corrective actions and predictive safety measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Expertise in OSHA compliance, EPA regulations, and waste minimization strategies
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex) and data analytics tools
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated success implementing large-scale programs
- Experience developing sustainability reporting frameworks aligned with GRI standards
