Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
- Conduct regular facility audits and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and spill response protocols
- Train staff on safety procedures, emergency preparedness, and sustainability practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational workflows
- Track and report EHS metrics using digital platforms like SafetySync
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, hazardous materials management, and environmental compliance
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, ProcessMAP)
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive cultural change
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
