Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with regulatory requirements
- Conduct workplace safety audits and environmental impact assessments
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses
- Deliver engaging safety training sessions for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and emergency response protocols
- Track KPIs including incident rates, compliance scores, and carbon footprint
- Collaborate with engineering teams on safety-by-design initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 501 certification and/or CSP designation
- Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations and ISO 14001 standards
- Proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong data analysis skills with incident trend reporting experience
- Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Texas Driver's License for facility inspections
