Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct facility audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage environmental permitting, waste stream optimization, and sustainability reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational workflows
- Maintain compliance documentation and prepare regulatory submissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour and CSP/CHRM certification strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations (RCRA, CAA, CWA) and TCEQ compliance
- Proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, ProcessMAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to generate actionable insights from KPIs
- Excellent communication skills with experience training diverse audiences
- Valid driver's license with willingness to travel to multiple sites
