- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits across facilities
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention protocols
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage environmental compliance reporting including permits and sustainability metrics
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS into operational strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, and environmental permitting
- Proven track record of reducing incident rates by 30%+
- Advanced data analysis skills for safety trend reporting
- Strong leadership abilities with cross-functional team management experience
- Texas EHS license or ability to obtain within 6 months
