Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 & OSHA standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with actionable corrective actions
- Lead regulatory compliance programs for air quality, waste management, and workplace safety protocols
- Train 500+ employees on emergency response, hazardous materials handling, and PPE requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety-by-design principles into new projects
- Manage EHS data analytics to track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Represent company during regulatory inspections and maintain positive agency relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector with 3+ years leadership role
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expert knowledge of EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910)
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong crisis management skills with demonstrated emergency response leadership
- Proven ability to translate complex regulations into practical operational procedures
- OSHA 500 Trainer certification preferred
