Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with data-driven corrective actions
- Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage environmental compliance including air/water permits, waste minimization, and sustainability reporting
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management coordination
- Analyze EHS KPIs and present actionable insights to executive leadership
- Mentor junior EHS staff and foster continuous improvement culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation required
- Expert knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations with proven compliance track record
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and data analytics tools
- Demonstrated success leading behavioral-based safety programs
- Strong project management skills with experience in sustainability initiatives
