Apex Industrial Solutions is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our comprehensive safety, health, and environmental compliance initiatives at our state-of-the-art facility in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ).
- Lead regular facility audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations, root cause analyses (RCA), and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Design and deliver engaging, high-impact EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and leadership.
- Manage environmental permitting, waste management, emissions reporting, and sustainability initiatives.
- Foster a proactive safety culture through peer-to-peer coaching, safety committees, and recognition programs.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections, audits, and reporting cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or energy sector.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHMM, or CIH) is highly preferred.
- Deep working knowledge of OSHA 1910, EPA, and state-specific environmental regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing behavioral-based safety (BBS) programs.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and data analytics to track leading and lagging indicators.
