  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ).
  • Lead regular facility audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations, root cause analyses (RCA), and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Design and deliver engaging, high-impact EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and leadership.
  • Manage environmental permitting, waste management, emissions reporting, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture through peer-to-peer coaching, safety committees, and recognition programs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections, audits, and reporting cycles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or energy sector.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHMM, or CIH) is highly preferred.
  • Deep working knowledge of OSHA 1910, EPA, and state-specific environmental regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing behavioral-based safety (BBS) programs.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software and data analytics to track leading and lagging indicators.
