Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 compliant EHS management systems
- Conduct comprehensive facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives (EPA, OSHA, TCEQ) and reporting
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and environmental permitting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operations
- Drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking and data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations
- Proven success implementing behavioral-based safety programs
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
