Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action implementation
- Oversee environmental compliance programs including air/waste/water permitting and reporting
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage hazardous materials handling, spill prevention, and emergency response protocols
- Conduct regular facility audits and prepare regulatory compliance reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using KPI tracking and data analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
- Expert knowledge of federal/state EHS regulations (EPA, OSHA, TCEQ)
- Proven track record implementing successful safety management systems
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and regulatory reporting
