Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Conduct regular facility audits and implement corrective action plans
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permit compliance
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP credentials preferred
- Proven expertise with EPA regulations (RCRA, CAA, CWA)
- Advanced knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
- Experience managing EHS software platforms (e.g., Cority, ProcessMAP)
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team development success
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to all organizational levels
