Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and other governing bodies
- Oversee incident investigation and root cause analysis with corrective action tracking
- Design and deliver employee training programs on hazardous materials handling, emergency response, and PPE protocols
- Manage environmental programs including waste minimization, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention
- Conduct facility audits and safety inspections with data-driven reporting
- Collaborate with operations leadership to integrate EHS into business decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Valid CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification
- Deep expertise in OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910/1926) and environmental compliance frameworks
- Proven experience developing safety management systems and emergency response plans
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
