Join EcoGuard Solutions Inc., a leader in sustainable industrial operations, as we seek a dynamic Senior Environmental Health & Safety Manager to drive our compliance excellence across Texas facilities. In this pivotal role, you'll design and implement proactive EHS strategies that align with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards while fostering a culture of environmental stewardship. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce operational risks, ensure regulatory adherence, and champion sustainability initiatives that protect both people and the planet.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with federal/state regulations (EPA, TCEQ, OSHA)
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct routine facility audits and ensure continuous compliance with ISO 14001 standards
- Design and deliver engaging EHS training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage environmental permits, waste stream optimization, and sustainability reporting
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environmentsCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation required
- Expertise in EPA/TCEQ regulatory frameworks and OSHA VPP program standards
- Proven track record developing and implementing ISO 14001-compliant systems
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and data analytics
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional EHS teams
