Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular facility audits and ensure compliance with federal/state environmental regulations
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and air/water quality monitoring systems
- Train employees on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and environmental best practices
- Oversee spill prevention control countermeasure (SPCC) programs and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM or CSP designation required
- Proven expertise with EPA regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Air/Water Acts)
- Advanced knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong experience with EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences and influence leadership
