Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and incident investigations to identify hazards
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Train employees on safety protocols, environmental regulations, and sustainable practices
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and regulatory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
- Track KPIs and prepare executive reports on EHS performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and/or CSP/CHRM credentials preferred
- Proficiency with EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Cority) and regulatory databases
- Demonstrated experience developing safety protocols and environmental management systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulations
- Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
