Responsibilities
- Lead and implement comprehensive EHS programs to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Conduct regular site audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver high-impact safety training programs for cross-functional teams and field personnel.
- Manage environmental permitting processes, including air, water, and waste management reporting.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and achieve corporate sustainability goals and ESG reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and internal audit committees.
- Drive a proactive safety culture through behavior-based safety observations and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in EHS leadership within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM certification strongly preferred.
- Deep working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional cultural change.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, incident tracking software, and technical report writing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex safety requirements to diverse audiences.
