You will be the architect of our zero-incident roadmap, driving operational excellence while ensuring our environmental footprint is minimized and our workforce remains protected.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive EHS strategy that aligns with global corporate sustainability and ESG goals.
  • Lead high-level root-cause analysis investigations for incidents and implement robust preventive measures.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations across all operational workflows.
  • Conduct regular multi-site audits and hazard risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential workplace dangers.
  • Mentor and develop a dedicated team of safety coordinators to foster a high-performance zero-incident culture.
  • Oversee all environmental permitting and reporting processes for air, water, and hazardous waste management.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and external audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive EHS leadership experience within an industrial, energy, or manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of significantly reducing Total Recordable Incident Rates (TRIR) and DART rates.
  • Expert-level knowledge of OSHA 1910 standards and EPA Title V air permit requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders from the shop floor to the C-suite.
  • Experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
