Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategic plans to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
- Lead site-specific risk assessments and drive the implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the administration of OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental reporting.
- Foster a culture of 'Safety First' through advanced training programs and leadership engagement.
- Conduct regular site audits and facilitate root cause analysis for all incidents.
- Manage relationships with environmental agencies, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Spearhead sustainability programs to reduce carbon footprint and waste production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in heavy industry or manufacturing.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred.
- Deep working knowledge of federal and Texas state environmental and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multi-site projects and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and data visualization tools.
