Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS management systems across multiple industrial sites.
  • Ensure full compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state-level environmental and safety regulations.
  • Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations for all near-misses and incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Direct industrial hygiene monitoring and hazardous materials management programs.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental training programs to instill a 'safety-first' culture.
  • Prepare and submit timely environmental reports including Title V air permits and hazardous waste manifests.
  • Liaise with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and local community stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS role.
  • Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and Texas state environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and reporting skills.
