Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Conduct regular workplace audits and safety training for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
- Stay current on evolving regulations and industry best practices
- Prepare EHS reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and ISO standards
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enviance, Intelex)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cultural change
- Exceptional communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
