Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive EHS management systems and safety protocols.
- Conduct rigorous site audits and risk assessments to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Develop and deliver high-impact training programs to foster a company-wide culture of safety and awareness.
- Manage environmental permitting, waste reduction programs, and sustainability initiatives to minimize our carbon footprint.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and lead incident investigation processes to drive root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to integrate EHS KPIs into daily operational workflows.
- Prepare detailed analytical reports for senior management regarding safety performance and environmental impact metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) is highly preferred.
- Expert knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ).
- Proven ability to influence organizational culture and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms for data tracking and compliance management.
