EcoCore Industrial Solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior EHS Manager to oversee compliance, sustainability initiatives, and workplace safety protocols at our flagship Houston facility. You will be instrumental in fostering a 'Safety First' culture, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a team dedicated to environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigate operational risks.
- Lead internal and external audits, managing all regulatory reporting and documentation processes.
- Deliver high-impact safety training sessions for staff at all levels to promote a culture of proactive injury prevention.
- Oversee hazardous waste management and emissions control systems, driving sustainability targets.
- Manage the incident investigation process, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional plant managers to integrate safety initiatives into production workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an EHS leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
- Proven track record in managing emergency response, incident investigations, and regulatory agency relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
