Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigate operational risks.
  • Lead internal and external audits, managing all regulatory reporting and documentation processes.
  • Deliver high-impact safety training sessions for staff at all levels to promote a culture of proactive injury prevention.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an EHS leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification is highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
  • Proven track record in managing emergency response, incident investigations, and regulatory agency relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in EHS software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
