Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategies to achieve zero-incident performance.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Lead incident investigations and implement robust corrective action plans.
- Oversee hazardous waste management programs and environmental reporting.
- Deliver high-impact safety training programs for cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to integrate safety into daily production workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM certification highly preferred.
- Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental health and safety laws.
- Proven ability to influence organizational culture and lead change management initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in EHS management software and reporting dashboards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
