Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive EHS programs across multiple facilities.
- Conduct rigorous site audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
- Manage the internal incident reporting database and lead root-cause analysis for all safety-related incidents.
- Develop and deliver high-impact safety training modules for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety and environmental controls into new project designs.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and manage all required environmental permitting and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS role.
- Deep understanding of federal and Texas state environmental and safety regulations.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining a strong safety culture in a complex operational environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in EHS software management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
