The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in high-hazard industrial environments. You will lead cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and implement innovative safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategies and site-specific safety policies.
- Maintain 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular facility audits and incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and environmental impact monitoring.
- Provide expert leadership during emergency response and crisis management events.
- Coordinate with site management to integrate safety KPIs into operational workflows.
- Deliver high-impact safety training programs to staff at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS leadership role.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) designation preferred.
- Deep understanding of Title V air permits, RCRA, and SPCC regulations.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for regulatory reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and data analytics for incident tracking.
