Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and site audits to identify potential workplace hazards.
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure 100% compliance with federal (OSHA, EPA) and state regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate safety training programs for cross-functional teams and site leadership.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive management.
- Collaborate with operations teams to integrate safety best practices into daily workflows.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and emissions control strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related engineering field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS role.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) designation preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and RCRA regulations.
- Proven track record in managing emergency response and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and MS Office Suite.
