Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategies to achieve 'Zero Harm' performance goals.
- Lead and manage multi-site safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulatory requirements.
- Foster a strong safety culture through cross-departmental training, workshops, and communication initiatives.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality monitoring, and wastewater treatment processes.
- Prepare and present high-level EHS performance reports to the executive leadership team.
- Drive continuous improvement in sustainability metrics, focusing on waste reduction and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of professional EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and Texas state environmental and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to drive organizational change.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and data analytics platforms.
