Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and programs to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
- Lead root-cause analysis for workplace incidents and implement effective corrective actions.
- Oversee hazardous waste management and environmental reporting (EPA, TCEQ).
- Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and emergency response drills.
- Manage EHS training programs for all staff, fostering a proactive safety culture.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety into new production processes.
- Maintain internal EHS management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS leadership role.
- Professional certification (CSP, CIH, or CHMM) is highly preferred.
- Deep expertise in OSHA, EPA, and state-specific environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive cultural change.
- Advanced data analysis skills for tracking leading and lagging safety indicators.
- Strong communication skills with experience managing regulatory agency relationships.
