Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategies to achieve 'Zero Harm' objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
- Lead root-cause analysis investigations for incidents and implement corrective action plans.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, spill prevention, and air emissions monitoring programs.
- Facilitate enterprise-wide safety training modules and leadership coaching.
- Perform regular site audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and external environmental consultants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS leadership role.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) designation preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state environmental permitting processes.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational culture change.
- Expertise in data analytics and EHS software management systems.
- Excellent communication and incident command skills.
