EcoTech Industrial Solutions is seeking a seasoned EHS Manager to lead our safety strategy in our Houston manufacturing hub. In this role, you will champion a culture of safety, ensuring 100% regulatory compliance while driving innovative sustainability initiatives that minimize our environmental footprint.
You will work directly with executive leadership to implement industry-leading safety protocols and lead a dynamic team dedicated to protecting our people and the planet.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS policies and programs to ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local state regulations.
- Conduct regular site audits, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure a zero-harm workplace.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Design and deliver high-impact safety training programs for all personnel across the facility.
- Oversee environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and emissions monitoring.
- Prepare and submit all necessary regulatory environmental reports (Air, Water, Waste) to governmental agencies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external regulatory inspectors and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive EHS experience in a high-hazard industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety laws.
- Proven track record of building safety cultures and successfully managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making for process improvements.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
