EcoStandard Industrial Solutions is seeking a visionary Senior EHS Manager to join our corporate headquarters in Houston. You will spearhead our sustainability initiatives, manage regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture across our manufacturing divisions.
The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise to mitigate workplace hazards, ensure environmental stewardship, and drive continuous improvement in our safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies and management systems across multiple sites.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments and site audits to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Lead incident investigation processes, including root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Design and deliver high-impact training programs to promote a zero-harm workplace culture.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to integrate safety into daily production workflows.
- Manage environmental permits, hazardous waste programs, and sustainability reporting metrics.
- Oversee emergency response preparedness and business continuity planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) designation strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive culture change.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in incident data management software.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams.
