Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
- Lead root-cause analysis for workplace incidents and drive effective corrective action plans.
- Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and environmental impact studies.
- Oversee hazardous waste management and emissions monitoring programs.
- Facilitate safety training workshops and foster a proactive 'safety-first' organizational culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS initiatives into daily operational workflows.
- Manage relationships with local and federal regulatory agencies, including OSHA and EPA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS leadership role.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification preferred.
- Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
- Proven track record in driving behavioral-based safety (BBS) programs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and data analysis tools.
