Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor the EHS management system to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for staff at all levels to foster a safety-first culture.
- Manage the budget for EHS programs and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and auditors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental sustainability.
Qualifications
- Certified in NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent (e.g., IOSH, IEMA).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in EHS management within a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO 45001/14001 standards.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
