Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategies to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Conduct rigorous site audits and risk assessments to proactively identify potential hazards.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver high-level safety training programs tailored for industrial field and office personnel.
- Coordinate with executive leadership to implement sustainability initiatives and carbon reduction goals.
- Manage environmental permitting processes and reporting for air, water, and waste management.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders during inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive EHS experience in industrial, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred.
- Deep working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Proven ability to influence organizational culture and drive behavioral-based safety programs.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and incident management software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical requirements and operational needs.
