Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the enterprise sector through proactive prospecting and networking.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and needs analysis to contract negotiation and closing.
- Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to the specific pain points of prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to refine our value proposition and sales collateral.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, ensuring pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy.
- Develop a deep understanding of market trends and competitive landscape to position Apex as the market leader.
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing sales team by sharing best practices and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
